What We Do

Times of Year, Machinery Used etc. 

We are a family-operated broadacre farm located south of Ongerup, Western Australia. We crop about 4500 hectares of canola, wheat, barley.

On all of our machinery we use John Deere GreenStar GPS on 12m tramlines.

Seeding

Seeding usually starts 1st of April and runs through until around mid May depending on the weather.

Seeding: Fendt 1042 tractor, 60' Ausplow DBS and 2800L Air Cart

Spreading: 2021 Fendt 930 G6 with 2014 Marshall 12T Multispreader or Claas Amazone linkage spreader

Spraying: 2018 Agrifac Endurance

Rock Picking: Fendt 724 with Degelman rock picker or Takeuchi skid steer with rock forks

Swathing & Harvest

Swathing: usually starts in October and occasionally we do contracting for neighbours with a 2018 MacDon M200

Harvest starts about 2 weeks after the start of swathing (beginning of November) & usually finish around Christmas depending on weather

Headers: 2021 Claas 770, 2016 Claas 770 with 12m fronts

Chaser bin: Fendt 1042 tractor with 2021 Coolamon 36T Chaser Bin
